“Working with Jane has been a game changer for me. She gets to the root of the problems and works them through in a kind, compassionate and empowering way. She’s empathetic and provides heartfelt and genuine support. As a trauma survivor, it’s important to share with others of great resources out there. Jane is definitely one of them. She is approachable and encouraging, and I very much enjoy my sessions with her. She is a profound counsellor who challenges me to think deeply about my core wounds and beliefs, providing me often with that lightbulb moment that I look for in my healing journey. I highly recommend working with Jane.”
What is Professional Coaching?
Coaching is a unique process that focuses primarily on identifying a goal and creating an action plan to get there. Its focus is in the present and the future, and tends to move in a more rapid and measurable fashion.
The Coach assumes a much more collaborative and peer-type role toward the client. This allows a higher level of personal disclosure (as appropriate), while still assisting individuals to determine their own answers.
Coaching does not emphasize deep emotional excavation, emotional processes or emotional release. Coaching is largely based on accountability, process, and measurable progress. Coaching is not covered by insurers, but may be paid for by employers or result as a viable tax deduction.
